Site Engineer - Construction Industry

RPO Recruitments client, a well-established construction and property development firm in South Africa is currently seeking a professional and detail-oriented Site Engineer to provide technical support on a large development project in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a driven individual with strong analytical abilities and construction site experience. Responsibilities: Perform setting-out and surveying functions using site equipment Ensure compliance with engineering designs, specifications, and quality standards Provide technical support to site teams and management Assist with planning, progress monitoring, and reporting Coordinate with contractors and consultants Requirements: National Diploma in Building/BTech in Construction Management or similar Minimum 35 years experience in a similar role Proficiency in setting-out and reading engineering drawings Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Hands-on leader who can motivate and manage site teams effectively Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency Must reside in Cape Town (no relocation applications will be considered or accommodation provided) Benefits: Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications Contact RPO Recruitment for our next career opportunity.
