Mechanical Draughtsman

We are seeking two skilled Mechanical Engineers / Draughtsmen to join our client, a leading engineering team specializing in water and wastewater treatment systems. This is an exciting opportunity for technically strong, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy solving real-world engineering challenges and working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models for water and wastewater treatment projects. Prepare Piping Isometrics, P&IDs, mechanical assemblies, and installation drawings. Develop and review mechanical designs for structural steel, piping, and sheet metal components. Assist with equipment selection, costing, and specification (pumps, valves, membranes, etc.). Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing and installation. Conduct site inspections and support commissioning activities. Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 35 years of relevant experience, ideally in the water and wastewater treatment industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD or BricsCAD for 2D design and SolidWorks (preferred) for 3D modelling. Strong understanding of weldment assemblies, pipe routing, sheet metal, and manufacturing drawings. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
