Senior Accountant

We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Accountant at a well-established Accounting Firm based in Brackenfell, Cape Town! The main purpose of this role is: - To manage a portfolio of high-end clients, oversee junior staff, and ensure accurate monthly accounting, statutory submissions, and financial reporting. We require a candidate with: · Strong experience managing a portfolio of high-end clients · Experience preparing monthly management accounts, VAT, PAYE, WCA · Excellent knowledge of statutory taxes (VAT, PAYE, UIF, WCA, Income Tax, etc.) · Brilliant planning, organizational, and deadline-management skills · Ability to oversee and manage the workload of junior clerks · Experience training and mentoring junior clerks · Proficiency in Xero, Pastel, and general accounting software · Solid SARS E-filing knowledge · Ability to integrate monthly accounting into compilation drafting for the compilation department · Professional qualification advantageous but not a requirement experience is essential · Ability to work effectively in a general office environment · Package negotiable, based on experience Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to finance.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za .
