Senior Site-Based Quantity Surveyor Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape Project Type: Residential & Commercial Building Projects A well-established construction firm is seeking an experienced Senior Site-Based Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic project team on a high-quality residential and commercial development in Stellenbosch. Key Responsibilities Full site-based quantity surveying functions from inception to close-out Measurement, preparation, and management of BOQs Cost planning, budgeting, and cost control Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and appointment Valuations, progress payments, and final accounts Variations management and claims assessment Close collaboration with site management, consultants, and clients Ensuring contractual compliance and accurate cost reporting Minimum Requirements BSc / BTech / ND in Quantity Surveying Minimum 810 years experience in building construction Proven experience on residential and commercial projects Strong site-based experience (non-negotiable) Solid understanding of JBCC contracts Proficient in measurement, cost reporting, and financial controls Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills Ability to work independently and under pressure Advantageous Experience on high-end residential or mixed-use developments Strong proficiency in QS software and MS Excel Whats on Offer Competitive salary Opportunity to work on prestigious projects in Stellenbosch Stable, long-term project with a reputable contractor who have other projects running in Cape Town & continue tendering on additional large builds Professional and supportive working environment To apply: Submit your CV with a brief project list highlighting relevant building experience.
