Structural Engineer – Consulting Industry

We are recruiting a highly skilled Structural Engineer with 810 years experience to join a dynamic and forward-thinking engineering team based in Cape Town . This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and prestigious projects across high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, and industrial sectors , while contributing to the continued growth and success of the business. Key Responsibilities: Produce, manage, and review structural engineering designs. Lead and manage a team of engineers and detailers. Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and project managers. Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance. Minimum Requirements: BSc / BEng / BTech in Structural Engineering. 810 years proven experience in structural engineering, including concrete, structural steel, and timber . Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Prokon, AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla . Revit experience will be advantageous. Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Proven ability to manage teams, multiple projects, and deadlines effectively. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ideal Candidate Profile: Self-motivated and proactive.
