HR Generalist

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing industrial relations, recruitment and onboarding, talent management, as well as maintaining accurate employee records. You will work closely with staff and management, managing matters such as overtime, absenteeism, and union engagement. Your expertise in labour law, conflict resolution, and HR best practices will be essential in ensuring compliant, efficient, and people-focused HR operations across the business. To succeed in this role, you should have 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist within a manufacturing or FMCG environment, along with a degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation, experience engaging with unions and operational teams, and the ability to manage the full HR function are essential.
