IT Security Specialist

A global logistics company providing end-to-end supply chain solutions, including air, ocean, road, and rail freight, customs brokerage, cargo insurance, and contract logistics (warehousing/distribution), is seeking an IT Security Specialist who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all digital assets. Responsibilities: Strategy: Drive Information Security Management policies and continuous enhancements. Risk Assessment: Develop solutions for enterprise risk management, including system hardening, third-party risk management (TPRM), and threat modeling. Privacy: Implement data discovery tools to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA , and other privacy regulations. Cloud Security: Ensure the secure integration of SaaS and cloud-based solutions, focusing on identity provider (IdP) integration. Governance: Utilize monitoring tools to oversee SaaS applications, systems, and data flow. Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability scans, monitor security alerts, and prioritize remediation and mitigation activities. Stakeholder Engagement: Lead meetings with C-suite executives, system architects, and business leads to align security with business goals. Subject Matter Expertise: Research and deploy new security tools; define requirements and conduct control tests. Documentation: Create high-quality policies, procedures, audit reports, and user training materials. Minimum Requirements: Deep understanding of InfoSec controls, principles, and ISO standards. Proficiency in Microsoft On-Premises and Cloud Technologies . Experience in secure code review, threat modeling, and risk analysis. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Cybersecurity.
