ETL Engineer

How you'll role The ETL Engineer will design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines that facilitate enterprise data integration, analytics, reporting, and operational functions. With a strong technical aptitude in data engineering and SQL, you will ensure high-quality and reliable data delivery for strategic business use. This role actively contributes to the architecture and governance of our data processes while working closely with various teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. What you'll do Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured datasets Develop data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading into data warehouses or lakes Write efficient SQL queries, transformations, stored procedures, and data scripts Implement incremental loads, change-data-capture (CDC), and automated data processes Integrate data from multiple internal and external systems, ensuring seamless connectivity Develop data quality rules, validation checks, and reconciliation processes Collaborate on the design of scalable data models with data architects Automate workflows using schedulers and optimize ETL performance Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and document data flows What you'll need Experience in data engineering or ETL development (2-5 years) Strong SQL skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience Experience with major ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory Proficiency with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL Knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, mapping, and validation Ability to work with large, complex datasets and implement ETL frameworks Competent in CI/CD pipeline setup and scheduler tools Solid problem-solving and communication skills
