Server Engineer (WINTEL and VMWARE)

Installation & Configuration: Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows server operating systems (2012 and up). Virtualization: Expertise in VMware administration, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and Site Recovery Manager (SRM) for disaster recovery. Patch Management: Managing security and application patching using tools like SCCM/WSUS, Microsoft Intune, and ManageEngine across numerous servers and endpoints. Monitoring & Automation: Utilizing tools like WhatsUp Gold, PowerShell for proactive system monitoring and automation. Support & Troubleshooting: Providing Tier 2/3 support for infrastructure issues, following ITIL methodologies for incident, problem, and change management. Security & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with security standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST. Key Skills & Qualifications: A relevant Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems 3 years of relevant experience and expertise in Windows Server Support (2012 up), VMware and Hyper-V, Commvault knowledge an advantage. Good understanding of Networking, Firewall topology, Storage solutions, with certifications in Microsoft and/or VMware Soft Skills: Problem-solving, strong communication, and the ability to work within a team are essential Willing to work overtime and mandatory one weekend per month Immediately Available
