Petrochem Service Technician/Verification Officer –

Responsibility of Job Service of company supplied and installed equipment primarily in the Petrochemical Division as well as FMS services when required. Main Job Functions (Key Performance Areas) The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Installation, commissioning, calibration and maintenance of company Equipment and products Management of documentation according to set standards Completion of verification reports to company standards Reacting to callouts/standby duties as required Administration and submission of Job Cards and company vehicle Log Sheets/Checklists. Administration and submission of documentation as per Quality System. Comply with SHE standards and Quality System (Act and Regulations). Comply with annual Verification Officer Audit. Client relations management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required To Perform Job Functions PC Literate including MS Office Well organized with attention to detail Knowledge of pressure, flow, and analytical weighing Working knowledge of digital communication and power supply An ability to work independently as well as within team Open test Measure, Mass, Piston Prover, Master Meter and LPG (With /without Temperature) certification an advantage Must have a valid Passport and Drivers License Comply with company policies Effective communication skills. Strong customer focus. Ability to make decisions independently and creatively. Strong good work ethics. Ability to interact with customers at all levels of the organization. Required to travel to any customer within South Africa or abroad when approved by management Be required to work reasonable extra hours from time to time Standby duty to be performed as and when required Formal Training Required Qualified V.O NTS6 or T4, Trade in Electrical/Mechanical or Instrumentation(advisable) Code 10 License Matric
