Job Description

A leading South African food manufacturer is seeking an Accounts Clerk to join their finance team. The role involves processing supplier invoices, tracking balances, resolving payment queries, and supporting weekly stock take activities. Responsibilities: Process and reconcile supplier invoices and accounts payable ledgers. Match purchase orders, GRNs, and invoices. Communicate with suppliers to resolve billing issues. Follow up on overdue payments. Support stock take coordination and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and assist with ad hoc finance tasks. Requirements: Minimum 2 years relevant experience (FMCG advantage). Working knowledge of Syspro preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills. Able to work independently and within a team.
