Senior/Lead Water Engineer

A medium-sized consulting company with offices across South Africa is looking for a Senior/Lead Water Engineer. Minimum requirements: · BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering with preferably a Masters degree in water and sanitation services. · Registered as a Pr Eng with ECSA. · Additional qualifications, which will be considered advantageous: o Knowledge of FIDIC / NEC / JCC o Active member in CESA/SAICE/WISA o NQF7 (labour-based construction) o Pr CPM o PMP · Minimum of 10 years experience in the water and sanitation field as a consulting engineer. · Municipal project experience in the evaluation, planning, design and construction of the water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, water reticulation, sewer reticulation, bulk pipelines, canals and storm water management. · Hydrology and determination of flood lines. · Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, iDAS and HEC-RAS. · Additional experience, which will be considered advantageous: o Preparation of construction tenders and contracts. o Experience as a Technical Advisor in PPP projects. o Previous experience of working with international funding agencies such as EU, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, EBRD and/or experience of working with NGOs.
