Fleet Manager

We are looking for a Fleet Manager to join our Frozen Food Distributors team. This hands-on role involves managing daily routing, vehicle maintenance, and ensuring our fleet operates safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate daily delivery routes for optimal efficiency. Monitor and track fleet movement and driver performance. Conduct regular vehicle checks and inspections. Schedule and book servicing, maintenance, and repairs of all vehicles. Maintain accurate fleet records and ensure all licenses, permits, and compliance documents are up to date. Address breakdowns or emergencies and ensure downtime is minimized. Matric (Grade 12) is essential. At least 2 years experience in a fleet management or logistics environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and fleet tracking systems. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance scheduling and compliance. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem- solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to fleet care. Own, reliable transport to and from work.
