Software Firmware Engineer

Our client within the aerospace & defense sector is currently looking for an experienced Software Firmware Engineer to join the team. Technical Requirements: · Experience/Interest in Aerospace, Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Embedded Systems, Avionics, Aircraft or Aviation · Bachelor's degree with a good academic record. · Embedded Skillsets (e.g. Python, Git, C/C++ programming) · Able to develop and maintain embedded firmware for aerospace/propulsion systems · Version control and release management (Git) · Support avionics integration and subsystem testing · Develop software architecture from system-level requirements · Maintain & write low-level embedded drivers · Support desktop application development for ground systems · DO-178 lifecycle compliance knowledge / experience highly advantageous Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to it.jobs@tumaini.co.za .
