Senior Electrical Engineer/Technologist

Lead the electrical design and delivery of complex building projects, including commercial, residential, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. Design and review lighting, power distribution, standby systems, earthing, and low-voltage systems. Manage project deliverables, from concept to construction documentation and commissioning. Oversee and mentor junior engineers and technicians, ensuring technical accuracy and quality. Coordinate closely with architects, structural and mechanical engineers, and other professionals to ensure fully integrated designs. Conduct site inspections and provide technical input during construction and project close-out phases. Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions. BEng / BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering. 7 years experience in electrical building services design, with a proven track record on commercial, residential, and institutional projects. Registration with ECSA as a PrEng / PrTechEng, or eligible for registration. Strong technical knowledge of SANS and IEC standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software. Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
