Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our client's team on a 6-month contract, hybrid working with a possibility of extension. Purpose: To analyse banking data across multiple systems and support business intelligence within the BaaS ecosystem, ensuring accuracy, compliance and actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and interpret transactional and operational data from multiple banking and API-driven sources. Design and maintain dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) for product performance and customer insights. Monitor BaaS platform metrics such as API usage, financial transactions, and customer behavior. Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy and regulatory standards (e.g., POPIA, GDPR). Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to optimize BaaS data strategies. Skills, Knowledge and Requirements: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science. Strong SQL and data visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of cloud-based data tools (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Understanding of financial services data, APIs, and digital banking models. Strong analytical and communication skills. Experience in Python, SSIS, SQL, GraphQL. AWS working knowledge a must (Must have experience on AWS AWS certification for access to systems).
