Job Description
Sales Support & Customer Service Assist customers in identifying the correct parts based on vehicle model and needs. Provide accurate quotations and product information. Handle walk-in and telephonic queries promptly and professionally. Upsell related parts, accessories, and services where possible. Order & Inventory Management Process sales orders, invoices, and returns accurately. Check stock availability and update the sales team and customers. Assist with stock receiving, binning, and stock-taking. Maintain an organized parts storeroom. Administrative Tasks Capture customer details and sales information on the system. Maintain updated records of orders, quotations, and supplier details. Follow up on backorders and delayed deliveries. Team Support Work closely with the senior parts salesperson or manager. Support warehouse and dispatch teams with packing and prepping orders. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues quickly. Minimum 12 years experience in parts sales, automotive spares, or a similar retail sales environment. Experience with automotive parts catalogues or lookup systems is an advantage. Basic knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and parts. Experience working with POS or sales systems . Minimum: Matric / Grade 12. A valid drivers license is an advantage. Strong communication and people skills. Good organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Computer literacy (Email, Excel, basic sales systems).
