Job Description

Key Responsibilities Support the finance team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records Process invoices, prepare journal entries, and reconcile bank statements Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Assist with various operational duties , which will be detailed during interactions with the employer Be available on certain Saturdays (±2 hours) and Sundays (±1 hour) when the Forecourt Manager is on leave or not on duty Meet deadlines efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism Minimum Requirements Accounting Certificate, Diploma, or Degree from a recognized institution Minimum 3 years experience in a similar accounting role Proficiency in Xero Accounting Software is essential and should currently be in use in your role Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans Valid drivers license Willingness to work longer hours when required Must be thorough, organized, hardworking, and self-motivated with strong initiative and attention to detail Preferably male candidates residing in or near the Goodwood area
