TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE A Client specialising in in plant and animal nutrition with extensive expertise in crop nutrition, soil conditioning and fertiliser efficiency, offering a specific range of fertilisers adapted to local soils and farmers needs. Actively recruiting in Mpumalanga: Wakkerstroom / Mkhondo Carolina Ermelo Witbank Middelburg Dullstroom / Stoffberg Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Meet with 3 to 4 farmers daily to introduce Timac Agro, identify their needs, conduct soil sample testing, present solutions, close sales, and provide follow-up. Grow and manage a new territory of clients, securing and maintaining strong relationships with farmers. Provide educational training through seminars and trade events, enhancing client knowledge and trust in the companys products. Sales and Marketing: Achieve sales targets set by management within your geographic area. Promote new products, ensure improved distribution, and drive promotional results. Develop your customer portfolio and energize the client network through events and digital channels. Territory Management: Organize activities based on campaign seasonality, segment your territory, and optimize your customer network. Stay informed on market conditions, plan sales efforts, recognize new opportunities, and maintain accurate territory records. Reporting and Administration: Ensure precise reporting by updating the CRM system and completing activity reports for customer follow-up and tracking. Assist with stock management, including forecasting, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory records. Education & Experience: B.Com/B.Sc or equivalent qualification. Must reside in the area of responsibility. Must have an existing network of potential clients. Strong understanding of plant & animal nutrition Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of plant and animal nutrition, with familiarity in the agriculture industry. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent sales techniques and report writing skills. Ability to conceptualize, innovate, solve problems, and present ideas effectively.
