Agronomy Data Specialist

BioScience Research, a company specializing in crop protection research, is seeking an Agronomy Data Specialist to join their team based in Durbanville. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in mathematics and statistics, and be detail oriented. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Accurately and efficiently processing large volumes of data into the company's proprietary software model *Processing and verifying various data parameters to maintain analytical integrity *Identifying and fixing data discrepancies to ensure a high level of accuracy and quality *Working independently to meet daily processing targets while maintaining high standards *Create Standard Operating Procedures and Systems Thinking Models *Staying alert and focused for long periods to ensure continuous data integrity *Contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of data analysis processes *Performing all other related duties. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: A degree in Agronomy or Science, with Statistics or a related field will be advantageous; Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar position; Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail; Confident in using various software tools and the ability to adapt to new technologies; Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
