Position Overview: Overseeing daily panel shop operations, managing & assisting personnel, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and optimizing the production processes in the panel shop to meet targets. Reporting directly to the branch manager Minimum Experience: 2-3 years' relevant experience in managing a panel shop. Experienced in understanding accident damaged quotations & Audatex. Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 Minimum Requirements: Valid, unendorsed code 8 drivers license. Computer literate: an intermediate level of MS Excel essential Specific Role Responsibilities Supervising, mentoring, and coordinating workshop staff Assigning tasks, creating schedules, monitoring performance, and providing training Managing daily and weekly production output, vehicle delivery schedules to meet deadlines and budgets Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring necessary supplies are available Maintaining accurate documentation, time sheets and quality records Implementing and enforcing quality standards and procedures Prioritizing and enforcing safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations Skills and Personal Attributes Self-starter with a sense of urgency Must be able to handle pressure and exhibit good time management skills, demonstrating a sense of urgency and commitment. Decision making without direct supervision A team player. Communication skills Scrupulous attention to detail Computer Literacy: Intermediate Excel proficiency is essential.
