Junior Videographer, Photographer & Editor Cape Townbased group portfolio company Were a Cape Townbased group portfolio company looking for a hands-on Junior Videographer & Editor to capture and craft high-quality visual content across our brands. Our portfolio includes companies in construction, industrial retail, premium firearms retail, and manufacturing. Youll help bring these brands to life through strong visual storytelling from the outdoors and sporting events to worksites, retail spaces, and product showcases. This is a production-focused role covering filming, photography, and editing, with some light website and content support. Its ideal for someone eager to grow within a creative marketing environment, take initiative, and help define the groups visual style. Key Responsibilities: Videography Film products, people, and events in a clear, engaging, and brand-consistent style. Capture outdoor, sporting, and construction-related content that reflects the energy, action, and culture of the moment. Operate and manage various cameras and equipment including GoPros, drones, and DSLR/mirrorless setups. Follow shoot plans and briefs aligned with campaign goals and brand direction. Maintain organised footage and file systems for easy collaboration. Photography: Capture high-quality stills for products, events, and social content. Ensure all imagery reflects the brands visual identity and standards. Editing & Post-Production: Edit footage into polished, story-driven videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. Add graphics, captions, and sound as required. Repurpose footage and imagery for social media, campaigns, and internal training videos. Optimise all visuals for social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube). Website & Content Support (Bonus) Assist with uploading and refreshing media on company websites. Help maintain an up-to-date library of photo and video assets. Content Planning Contribute creative ideas to monthly content calendars alongside the digital and marketing teams. Skills & Requirements: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar video editing software). Confident in camera operation, including GoPro and drone footage. Strong photography and visual storytelling skills, particularly in outdoor, event, and site-based environments. Basic design ability (Canva); Lightroom or Photoshop experience an advantage. Computer literate (Microsoft Office). Fluent in English and Afrikaans. Own transport and valid drivers licence. Reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple projects. Willing to work occasional weekends or after-hours for events (time off provided). Portfolio showcasing video and photography work required. Work Environment: Type: Hybrid (remote one in-office day per week, Bellville). Hours: Mornings with flexitime (MondayFriday); occasional weekend events with time off in lieu. Duration: Half-day role with potential to expand to full-day. Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
