Required Skills: Valid and unrestricted medical license in Indiana or the ability to obtain one promptly Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB training Proven experience in obstetrical inpatient care and hospitalist services Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience as a locum or hospitalist in obstetrics Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Ability to handle high-volume deliveries and emergencies efficiently BLS and Naloxone certification; NRP certification is a plus

Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school At least 2 years of obstetrics experience in a hospital setting Active Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one quickly

Other Requirements: Availability to start on December 31, 2025, with flexible scheduling options Ability to travel to Evansville, IN, and stay for the duration of the assignment Certification in ACLS and NRP preferred; must maintain state and federal compliance standards Willingness to participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives

Compensation for this assignment is $214.50 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick time in compliance with applicable laws, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursable expenses, as applicable.
