Key Responsibilities
As a Private Wealth Services Associate, you will:
• Advise clients on estate and income tax planning, corporate restructuring, governance, and wealth transfer strategies
• Manage estate and trust administration, including fiduciary guidance, reporting, and implementation planning
• Develop trust modification and migration strategies, including multi-jurisdictional considerations
• Assist clients in achieving philanthropic objectives through grants, charitable vehicles, and private foundations
• Design legal documents and structures to maximize tax efficiency and minimize disputes
• Draft comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and related transfer documents
• Collaborate with internal teams and client advisors (accountants, investment professionals, and family offices) to coordinate implementation
• Provide practical guidance on sensitive, time-sensitive issues involving family dynamics, governance, and long-term planning

Qualifications
• JD or LLM (or foreign equivalent)
• 3 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and tax planning
• Demonstrated experience drafting comprehensive estate planning documents
• Proficiency developing estate tax planning strategies and advising on trust modification/migration
• Admitted to the Illinois Bar or eligible for admission within 2 years — IL Bar required
• Strong legal research and analytical skills, including comfort navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional tax issues
• Excellent judgment, professionalism, and client communication skills
