Senior Attorney (White Plains)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled New York Labor Law Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of New York labor laws, a strong courtroom presence, and a fervent dedication to advocating for employee rights and fair workplace practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice on New York labor and employment laws to individual and corporate clients. Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and settlement agreements. Conduct legal research and stay up to date on changes in New York labor regulations and case law. Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; manage all phases of litigation from intake through resolution. Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to develop a strategy and deliver successful outcomes. Conduct client consultations and maintain strong, trust-based relationships. Participate in mediation, arbitration, and courtroom proceedings as needed.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the New York State Bar. Minimum 3 years of experience specializing in New York labor law. Demonstrated success in litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and maintain meticulous attention to detail. Commitment to ethical practice and professionalism. Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The base salary for this position is between $120,000 – $200,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
