Workday Payroll Manager

leading healthcare organization

that has

recently gone live with Workday

and is seeking an experienced

Payroll Manager

to support Payroll operations during a critical stabilisation period.

This is a

hands-on, operational role

focused on ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery while leading and supporting an established Payroll team. The successful candidate will play a key role in

bringing structure, control, and confidence

to Payroll processes following the Workday go-live.

We’re looking for a Payroll Manager who is comfortable stepping into a complex environment, can quickly assess issues, and work collaboratively to improve Payroll performance and team effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end

Payroll operations

following a recent Workday go-live Lead, support, and develop

Payroll team members , ensuring clear ownership and accountability Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all pay cycles Act as the primary escalation point for Payroll issues and stakeholder queries Partner with HR, Finance, and Workday support teams to stabilize Payroll processes Identify process gaps and drive operational improvements (not system configuration)

What We’re Looking For: Strong experience running

Payroll operations within Workday Payroll Proven background leading Payroll teams in complex, high-volume environments Experience supporting Payroll during or after a

Workday go-live Confident stakeholder management and clear communication skills Healthcare experience is highly desirable but not essential
