Regional CDI Manager

for a

contract-to-hire

opportunity supporting a large, complex Level I Trauma and teaching hospital environment. This role requires a highly visible CDI leader who can manage a large CDI team, collaborate across departments, and drive documentation quality, query effectiveness, and clinical accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Lead CDI initiatives within a high-acuity hospital environment Serve as a visible CDI leader across clinical and administrative departments Collaborate with coding teams, physicians, administrators, and executive leadership Discuss CDI metrics with physicians, including query and response rates Manage a team of

18 CDI staff members Assign daily case reviews to team members Conduct monthly team audits and review findings Provide education based on audit outcomes Complete monthly 1:1 meetings with direct reports Qualifications: Active

CDI certification
