Tax Attorney

Job Summary A tax attorney at our asset protection firm will provide guidance on entity structuring for tax savings purposes, tax strategies that Legally Mine recommends, and basic instruction on implementation to our members and/or their accountants. This role focuses on analyzing members' financial and organizational structures, identifying opportunities for tax savings, and ensuring compliance within federal and state tax laws. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our account managers and entity creation team to design individualized asset protection plans and deliver clear, actionable recommendations that support long-term wealth preservation.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive explanations of tax strategies that Legally Mine recommends, especially in relation to the member's asset protection structure. Hold appointments (mainly over the phone) with Legally Mine members to review recommended entity structure and discuss tax savings opportunities and strategies that they are eligible to use. Conduct necessary research to stay updated on current tax laws and regulations. Maintain accurate records of communications with Legally Mine members and ensure compliance with legal standards. Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases to find the best possible solutions for Legally Mine members. Qualifications Admission to the state bar and active license to practice law (Does not necessarily need to be in UT). Experience in tax law is a must. Experience in Estate Planning is a plus. Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise correspondence with members. Ability to conduct research and apply legal principles accurately. Ability to efficiently manage a full schedule of appointments with members, while ensuring that follow-up and proper documentation procedures are taking place. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
