Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to serve students across grades K-12 in a school setting located in Clinton, IL. This contract role runs from January 2026 through June 2026.
The ideal candidate will possess an active state license in occupational therapy and experience working with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) levels. The role requires dedication to supporting student development and collaborating closely with educational teams to implement effective therapy plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12, addressing diverse developmental needs
Assess student abilities and challenges, developing individualized therapy goals and treatment plans
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom environment
Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary to maximize student outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Active state license in occupational therapy is mandatory
Prior experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively partner with school personnel and families
Work Schedule and Benefits:
Contract duration: January 2026 June 2026
Hours per week: 30 to 37.5, Monday through Friday
