$120K-$175K Base (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
The Senior Digital Signal Processing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced signal processing algorithms for various applications. The role requires a strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and an ability to work on complex systems involving mixed signal components. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance product performance and meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement digital signal processing algorithms for various applications.
Optimize existing algorithms to improve performance and efficiency.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate DSP solutions with mixed signal components.
Conduct simulations and testing to validate signal processing algorithms.
Document design processes, test results, and performance metrics.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in signal processing and related technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in Digital Signal Processing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Matlab.
Experience with hardware integration and mixed signal circuits.
Familiarity with FPGA design and implementation.
Knowledge of communication protocols, including UART, SPI, TCP/IP, and UDP.
Experience with machine learning techniques applied to signal processing is a plus.
Security Clearance is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
