Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks an Occupational Therapist experienced in school settings to support student development and participation in educational activities. Located in Gonzales, LA, this contract position offers the chance to contribute to meaningful interventions that enhance childrens learning and independence. Responsibilities include: Evaluating and assessing students to identify needs and develop individualized occupational therapy plans Implementing therapeutic strategies to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress Documenting interventions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and legal requirements Participating in meetings and providing guidance on accommodations and adaptive equipment Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) Experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage caseload and maintain detailed documentation Commitment to student-centered care and educational goals Part-time candidates are encouraged to apply and will be considered for available positions.
