About the Opportunity A leading hospital in New York City is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a 25-week full-time contract assignment. This role supports a high-volume interventional cardiology service and is ideal for a clinically strong professional with hands-on cardiac catheterization experience. This is a structured day-shift schedule with consistent hours, offering stability in a fast-paced interventional environment and competitive hourly compensation.

Responsibilities Scrub and assist during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures Prepare and maintain sterile field and procedural equipment Monitor and document hemodynamic data throughout procedures Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases Ensure proper operation and troubleshooting of cath lab equipment Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital protocols Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) registration required Minimum 3 years of experience applicable to the specialty required Minimum 1 year of scrubbing experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab preferred Strong knowledge of: Interventional Cardiology, Hemodynamic Monitoring, and Cardiovascular Anatomy & Physiology
