Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN – Circulator)

for a short-term contract assignment in an outpatient surgical setting. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled perioperative nurse who can function independently across multiple surgical service lines while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence. 2 Key Responsibilities

Serve as the circulating nurse for surgical procedures across multiple specialties Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and functioning Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with perioperative standards and safety protocols Perform accurate patient identification, surgical site verification, and time-outs Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure efficient case flow Document perioperative care accurately and timely Advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process Service Lines (Must Be Independent In)

Active

Registered Nurse (RN) license

(must be current) Minimum of

7 years of recent Operating Room circulating experience Ability to work independently across multiple surgical specialties Required Certifications

Perioperative 101 (Peri-Op 101)

– required BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Preferred Certifications

CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room)
