Title: Vice President, Power / Energy

Description:
We are searching for a senior operations leader responsible for our client that delivers critical infrastructure construction and engineering services for power delivery, gas, and water customers, specializing in overhead and underground electric distribution for power delivery systems. Ideal individual will be accountable for shaping the vision, building the strategy, and leading execution across all aspects of the business. The role will oversee market development, client engagement, and project delivery, ensuring that every initiative aligns with our long-term objectives and delivers exceptional results. Success in this role will require a deep knowledge of power generation technologies, proven experience in managing complex projects, and the ability to navigate competitive markets. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership, leveraging industry relationships and commercial acumen to drive sustainable growth and establish our presence as a market leader.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in related / comparable field
10-15 years of experience including expertise within a leadership capacity within EPC – Engineering, Procurement and Construction or Power Generation Technologies or Electrical Distribution and Transmission Systems and Construction Project Management
Ability to effectively participate in office, regional and/or national level leadership strategic planning and execution.
Specific experience with partner strategy and building relationships with clients at the leadership level.
Expertise in EPC delivery model, risk management, and commercial structures (Preferred).
Established network of relationships with utilities, developers, and key industry stakeholders.
Track record of developing and executing long-term strategic plans that drive growth and profitability.
Demonstrated ability to steward budgets, ensure compliance, and partner effectively across operational, engineering, and technical disciplines
Ability to travel as needed
Experience with serving as escalation point for all project, financial, business development, contract negotiations, and client relationship risks
Ability to resolve escalated issues involving projects, staffing, financials, schedules, contractual, subcontractor, client relationship issues, negotiating fees and contingency expenses, etc.
Actively leads and develops strategic financial plans, forecasts revenue and margin and develops office, project, and work program business plans.
