Environmental Compliance Specialist We’re hiring a Environmental Compliance Specialist to play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible landfill operations across multiple active sites. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys travel, problem-solving, and working at the intersection of operations and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local solid waste and environmental regulations Oversee groundwater, leachate, landfill gas, surface water, and stormwater monitoring programs Conduct site inspections, support regulatory audits, and track corrective actions Prepare and submit environmental reports and maintain compliance documentation Serve as a compliance resource for site teams, regulators, and consultants

Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of landfill solid waste compliance experience Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, monitoring, and reporting Organized, self-directed professional comfortable working in the field and traveling frequently
