Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a temporary opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to provide onsite support in a school setting, covering a maternity leave from January 5, 2026, through June 5, 2026. The role is based in Anoka, MN, serving elementary school students, with a caseload that may also involve K-12, depending on needs. This contract position requires flexibility and dedication to support student development during the absence period.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students, focusing on skill development and assistance with daily school activities.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create and implement individualized therapy plans.
Monitor student progress and document outcomes to ensure effective interventions.
Maintain compliance with school policies and professional standards.
Adapt services to accommodate varying caseload needs throughout the contract duration.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license applicable in Minnesota.
Experience working in school-based environments, preferably with K-12 students.
Strong understanding of the educational setting and related therapy requirements.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel to multiple school locations within the district.
Location and Schedule:
Location: Anoka, MN, with potential commutes to multiple schools including elementary and middle school levels.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with variable full-time and part-time assignments between January and June 2026.
