Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide specialized support in an elementary school setting. This is a maternity leave contract opportunity based in Lowell, MA, running from mid to late January through April. The role requires a commitment of 3 days per week, with 7-hour workdays. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to Pre-K through 5th-grade students. Manage a caseload of approximately 17 students, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs. Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student participation and success. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with guidelines. Support the transition and development of children within the elementary school environment. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience in school-based occupational therapy services. Background in healthcare settings, including home health, is advantageous. Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with educators and families. Familiarity with assessment and intervention techniques for pediatric populations.
