Providing occupational therapy services in a dynamic K-12 school setting, this full-time contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development in Bernalillo, NM. The role supports multiple elementary schools, a high school, and an off-campus Autism-based district program, delivering both direct and indirect therapy services. Responsibilities include: Offering itinerant OT services to approximately 11-12 students at each of two elementary schools and 17-18 students at the high school. Supporting an Autism-focused program through tailored interventions and consultative support. Collaborating closely with teachers and staff by providing consultations to integrate therapeutic goals into the classroom environment. Maintaining up-to-date documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational and clinical standards. Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Experience working in K-12 school settings, particularly with diverse student populations. Strong skills in both direct therapeutic interventions and indirect consultation with educators. Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple school sites. Familiarity with Autism spectrum disorder programs is highly beneficial.
