Driving Manager

Responsibilities: Supervise and provide leadership to a team of professional CDL Class A drivers Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with drivers while fostering a respectful and supportive work environment Coordinate and dispatch drivers for timely pickup and delivery of freight to customers and vendors Monitor driver locations and load progress to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries Maintain accurate operational data by consistently updating projected times of availability (PTAs) and estimated times of arrival (ETAs) Collaborate with the maintenance department to schedule necessary equipment repairs and preventative services Partner with fellow Driver Managers and provide cross-coverage support as needed Contribute to strategic planning efforts that support regional customer growth and expansion Analyze transportation expenses and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction Review and approve driver time-off request Uphold and promote company core values, including Safety, Service, Positive Attitude, and Respect Perform additional duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications: Working knowledge of the trucking industry and commercial motor vehicle operations Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities Self-motivated with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Collaborative team player who thrives in group problem-solving environments Benefits: Dental insurance.
