Law Clerk (Louisville)

Law Clerk – Healthcare & Civil Litigation Oldham Law is a boutique litigation firm located in Louisville’s historic Butchertown neighborhood. With an investigative mindset and client-first approach, we represent healthcare providers and corporate clients in complex civil litigation throughout Kentucky and the surrounding region.

We are seeking a motivated Law Clerk to support our litigation team and gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a fast-paced defense practice. This position is ideal for a current law student (2L or 3L preferred) or recent graduate awaiting bar admission who is interested in healthcare defense and civil litigation.

What You’ll Do: Assist attorneys with legal research and drafting, including memoranda, briefs, and case evaluations Review and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and discovery materials Support case investigations, witness preparation, and fact development Assist with preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial Help organize and manage litigation files and exhibits Participate in client communications and internal case strategy discussions as appropriate

What We’re Looking For: Current law student or recent graduate (Kentucky bar intent preferred) Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability Interest in civil litigation and healthcare defense Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines Professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset
