Dearborn, Michigan Job Summary Looking for an engineer with strong experience in automotive door locking systems, including door latches and inner/outer door handles. Key Responsibilities Design automotive central locking systems (door latches and handles) Create specifications for inner and outer door handles and latches Develop new design concepts and support product development Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, testing, manufacturing, etc.) Collaborate with suppliers for handle and latch development Apply DVP&R, GD&T, DFMEA, and validation/testing knowledge Required Skills Hands-on experience with door handles and latches Strong understanding of automotive product development process Knowledge of DVP&R, GD&T, DFMEA, and testing methods Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
