Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location - Northampton, MA
Contract - 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Call | No Weekends | No Holidays
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our healthcare team. This is a full-time weekday position offering excellent work-life balance with no call, weekends, or holiday requirements.
Position Overview:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures as prescribed by physicians. This role works under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor and follows established organizational and departmental policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Minimum Requirements:
Associate’s Degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (required)
Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (required)
NMTBC Registration or registry eligibility (required)
Continuing education credits meeting state and registry licensing requirements
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification (required)
One (1) to three (3) years of Nuclear Medicine experience (required)
