This contract role offers 3x12-hour rotating shifts, requiring dedication to patient care and flexibility to meet hospital operational needs. The position is based in the Elyria, OH area, with assignments at a renowned Cleveland-based medical campus specializing in advanced nursing care. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing before starting travel assignments Recent 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted) Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Strong skills in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration, demonstrated through assessments during orientation Willingness to work at least every other holiday Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients Manage 12-hour day and night shifts, with times approximately 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Participate in orientation assessments including ECG rhythm and safeMedicate evaluations Comply with hospital scheduling practices, including potential shift rotations to support operational needs Submit hours worked using designated electronic systems Location Elyria, OH: Elyria offers a blend of suburban comfort and accessibility to major metropolitan areas, providing a welcoming community environment for healthcare professionals.
