Logistics Service Provider Lead

Job Summary:

A Logistics Service Provider Lead is needed for an American social media conglomerate corporation. Remote work. This is a Logistics Service Provider Lead role in express parcel distribution, focusing on developing, sourcing, and managing global express carriers and contracts (SOWs) for Reality Labs' product lifecycle (prototype to reverse).

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing, driving, and executing within the parcel distribution category for Reality Labs.

Focused specifically on express carriers.

Goal is to build a world-class logistics network for breakthrough technology.

Collaborates closely with Logistics Operations, Network Design, Application Management, and Solution Leads.

Scope covers prototype, mass production, and reverse logistics.

Ensures lowest total landed costs while maintaining superior service.

Leads sourcing and ongoing carrier management for express carrier services.

Champions customer promise performance and continuous improvement.

Develops and manages relationships with existing global express carriers.

Implements a carrier performance framework and conducts periodic carrier business reviews.

Establishes carrier selection criteria, evaluates, and manages the selection process.

Skills

Experience operating in an e-commerce environment and networks.

Strong leadership and cross-functional teamwork skills.

Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of management.

Experience navigating ambiguity and prioritizing multiple workstreams.

Experience 5+ years of direct experience with sourcing and/or managing express carrier services, or in a commercial role at a global express integrator.
