About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with our client in the Education Industry, to identify a Human Resources & Talent Manager. This organization offers a collaborative campus environment and is seeking a hands-on HR professional to lead recruiting and HR operations as a key department resource.

Job Description: This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a growing educational institution. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee recruitment efforts, manage onboarding processes, and serve as the primary HR contact for staff. This role will transition to a full-time salaried position after the initial contract period. The position is fully onsite, with occasional offsite attendance at job fairs and professional events.

Key Responsibilities: Represent the organization at education-focused career fairs and networking events Manage the end-to-end hiring lifecycle, from requisition through offer Lead recruitment efforts for instructional and school-based staff Proactively source candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed Utilize HRIS system to create job postings, track applicants, and maintain HR records Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation Ensure compliance with evolving employment laws, including harassment prevention standards Serve as the primary HR resource for employees, fostering a welcoming and supportive workplace environment

Qualifications: Experience managing full-cycle recruitment Familiarity with HRIS systems Knowledge of employment compliance requirements and HR best practices Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across all staff levels Comfortable working independently as the sole HR team member
