ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role, based in the Northern Virginia area, for an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician. The professional in this role will provide one-on-one therapy to children, implementing behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs. Responsibilities include collecting data, monitoring progress, collaborating with the care team, and supporting the child's development in communication, behavior, and social skills. The ideal candidate will maintain professional interaction with children and families while fostering a supportive and structured environment for growth.

Qualifications Strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysis techniques Background in Psychology and experience working with children Excellent Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families Organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure effective implementation of therapy plans Relevant certifications (e.g., Registered Behavior Technician, RBT) are highly desirable High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred Commitment to maintaining a compassionate and empathetic approach in therapy settings
