The Manufacturing Systems Analyst is responsible for providing functional and analytical support for the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and related production software tools. Reporting to Director of IT, the Manufacturing Systems Analyst will be required to stay up to date up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize production systems and contribute to initial discovery projects to reveal the business and production processes within the manufacturing facility. The Manufacturing Systems Analyst, through the use of new and existing software and hardware tools, will serve as a champion and change agent for the adoption of Data Analytics methods and be the primary liaison between IT/IS and the manufacturing operations team.

*\*\*Only candidates with SQL Development experience will be considered\*\**

*Technology Competencies:*

* Primary language: SQL * Secondary languages: SyteLine/Mongoose, Visual Basic, C#, Python, or other languages for performing complex data modeling and analysis * Visualization tools (i.e. SSRS, Power BI, Mongoose Reporting)

*Primary Responsibilities:*

* Act as an extension of the manufacturing engineering and quality assurance teams in proposing data driven solutions and recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce cost and improve quality * Collaborate with the production team analyzing and resolving technical, process, and manufacturing flow issues driven by data collection related to materials, PCBA production, electrical test, cable assembly, and systems integration * Implement analyze, and validate data collection processes related to internal manufacturing cells and ensure data integrity by implementing quality assurance practices, gathering and entering missing data, and resolving any anomalies * Identify areas of improvement in data collection processes or systems and make recommendations to correct any deficiencies * Analyze customer documentation such as assembly drawings, CAD, Gerber files, BOMs, etc., and identify attribute and variable data sources which can be incorporated as part of the manufacturing process for data collection and statistical process control * Interface with corporate partners to develop and implement robust and secure data storage and retrieval tools in the form of templates, applications, and databases utilizing current software platforms (ERP, SharePoint) while also ensuring that User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) are meaningful and relevant * Participate in New Production Introduction activities to define the assembly processes, product flows, materials, methods, and tools necessary to bring new customer products to the company portfolio * Establish effective and efficient manufacturing processes and work instructions and act as technical subject matter expert (SME) and partner with area support Engineers, Supervisors, IT/IS staff, and Senior Management team * Support existing production programs to minimize equipment down-time, maximize resource productivity, and improve quality

*Qualifications:*

* 4 year college degree * 2+ years as Business/Systems Analyst work experience required * Must have SQL and SSRS report development experience * Visual Basic and C# experience preferred * Infor Syteline experience a huge plus * Good problem solving and analytical skills * Exceptional interpersonal/team building skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and participate on multi-functional teams * Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective
