Maintenance Supervisor (Urbana)

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead shop floor operations in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Manufacturing Superintendent/Plant Manager and is responsible for ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong floor presence, team coaching, and real-time problem solving to support safety, quality, delivery, and morale.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support 2nd shift maintenance and production operations Assign daily work based on production demands and team strengths Provide hands-on troubleshooting and process support Drive safety compliance and machine safeguarding standards Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts Train, coach, and develop team members Support quality systems and audit requirements (IATF/ISO environment) What We’re Looking For: Supervisory experience in manufacturing or maintenance Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles Proven ability to motivate teams and improve performance Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Comfortable working hands-on in a production environment
