We are excited to announce an opening for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide essential care at The Ridge, our newly established residential addiction treatment facility located at 289 Windham Rd Willimantic (10534).

Position Overview As a valued member of our team, you will conduct physical exams, psychiatric evaluations, and comprehensive addiction treatment, including diagnosing, prescribing, and coordinating care. You will collaborate closely with our multi-disciplinary team, including the Residential Medical Director, psychiatrists, and clinical staff. Main Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough physical exams and develop comprehensive medical histories for patients. Order and perform relevant laboratory tests and screenings, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed. Design and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare staff. Write prescriptions and manage treatment protocols for patients. Document patient progress, ensuring accurate health records while prioritizing confidentiality. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, medications, and wellness strategies. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications: The successful applicant must hold a valid certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or a Physician Assistant with the necessary credentials and licenses to practice in Connecticut (including CT DEA and Controlled Substance licenses).
