Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students within the educational setting at an elementary school. This contract position spans the current school year through May 20, 2026, serving either Emporia or Council Grove, Kansas, with onsite work expected. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language pathology services to elementary students, addressing communication disorders and working collaboratively with educators and support staff. Manage caseloads that range from approximately 10-12 students per day to up to 50-55 students during a five-day period. Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapeutic interventions aligned with best practices and state guidelines. Desired Qualifications: Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist License. Experience in school-based SLP roles, preferably with certification of clinical competence (CCC-SLP). Ability to work effectively within school teams and demonstrate flexibility in managing varying student caseload sizes. Excellent communication skills and commitment to student-centered service.
